In partnership with the Association des Amis des Beaux-Arts de Paris, Carosposo presents Clips Claps, a screening gathering together videos and clips by six young artists, graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris: Johanna Benaïnous & Elsa Parra, Léandre Bernard-Brunel, Virgile Fraisse, Pierre Pauze et Elsa Werth.

We are challenged by the modern world to live according to its expectations. In the frenzy of our social lives, nature and culture draft a free choreography, way less tainted by the preexisting dual statements that usually prevail in our perception of the world and all its components. Our western and neocolonial fantasies are still present but fading. The resistance supported by our imagination, by the understanding and acceptance of the others and their cultures is strengthening. Using various forms and processes, these six young artists open our sensibilities, and keep on increasing the infinite harmonies of the musical spectrum. From Clips to Claps they reinforce the moving images' visionary, poetic, metaphoric, and non-authoritarian dimensions.
